The Android community needs to be alert as more than 900 million android based smartphone have got affected badly by Quadrooter flaw. Many top smartphones which are backed by Qualcomm processors have become the main prey of Quadrooter. The Quadrooter accompanies 4 different vulnerabilities. Each of these vulnerabilities helps hackers to get control on the smartphones.

If Quadrooter is being exploited, the attacker may get full control on the device and get unauthorised access to critical information may it be personal or enterprise. This access may give the attacker a power like GPS tracking, keylogging or video or audio recording, the Check Point post suggests.

Using any malicious app, a hacker can take advantage of all of 4 vulnerabilities of Quadrooter. This kind of app would not need any specific permission and thus, alleviates the suspicious users to get install the app on devices.

Quadrooter Affected Many Android Device’ Drivers:

As per the blog post in Check Point, the vulnerabilities of Quadrooter has affected the drivers of smartphones that control the communication in different components of chipset. As the drivers are often pre-installed during manufacturing level, one can get it fixed only from OEMs or from software patch issued by the carriers.

It is recommended to smartphone users by Check Point to get the latest updates of Android downloaded to their devices and do not let apk files side-loading. It also recommends to read the permission requests very cautiously during installation process of multiple apps and so on.

The bike rider named Gareth Clear from Bondi – Australia was biking in New South Wales’ Manly Dam where he suddenly fell to his bike and landed over his phone – iPhone 6.

After few seconds to landing on the phone, Clear saw some burning heat and smoke on his phone and after that, it was exploded and started melting down from his shorts. This explosion badly affected his skin of right thigh to two layers. It was such a terrific burn that the man underwent an immediate graft surgery for skin.

In the statement, Clear quoted

"It was a one in one million chance I hit a part of the phone which pierced the lithium battery and it exploded”.

Moreover, Clear also mentioned in his statement that he witnessed the bending metal and how the lithium of iPhone 6 battery leaked out from its bottom end. He said that after the phone had got exploded, the phone base started looking like something is getting exploded due to a chemical explosion; however, the top end remains unaffected by the explosion.

As per Da-Wei-Wang, this is an unusual incident when a lithium battery of phone gets overheat to this level that it gets exploded. He said that it might happen at times when there is a combination of a bad design of the structure of a phone and overheating.

Though, Clear told that the iPhone 6 maker – Apple assured him to investigate in this matter; yet the spokesperson of Apple has not said anything on this matter. 

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Coming With Dual Camera; Teaser Image Reveals!

In all ways, the array of dual camera completely encourages redesigning of the overall appearance of this model as compared to Note 3. As of now, Xiaomi has not given any details on specifications for Note 4 upcoming model, though, it is rumoured that it is going to feature bigger display, 16 GB storage, 3 GB RAM and Snapdragon 654 Qualcomm Chipset.
